Private Sessions and Small Group Classes

Private Sessions are a great way to deepen your practice, learn more about what’s happening anatomically in yoga, and create a personal practice that works for your body. Alicia’s private sessions and small group classes are geared towards injury awareness and recovery, creating a daily practice for the individual(s), and reaching deeper relaxation and release.  A great method of self-care, they also include hands on adjustments to find proper alignment and light massage for muscle relaxation.

She has experience teaching youth, teens and the elderly. Her sessions are culturally sensitive and for people of all different backgrounds.

She teaches in the NYC area and in her home in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn.


You can tell from details of Alicia’s instruction and the clarity of her demonstration that she is someone who fully inhabits her body and is in tune with its subtle dimensions and potential.  I appreciate her grounded approach to yoga practice, which views asana as a tuning mechanism rather than gymnastic achievement.  The beauty is that she is a dancer and has tremendous faculty with her physical being, but she is also curious and patient and interested in the process of getting where she’s going, and she encourages this grace in her students.
